on my way down stairs today the Captain called me "Heather." why is it that whenever someone calls me a wrong name by mistake, it is always "Heather?" i have nothing against the name, but it's curious that ever since i was little, that's the name people subconsciously think i should be called. i guess i look like one.

i'm working on writing a page-long piece about my experiences on Iraqi Election Day for the St. Louis Gateway, something one of my friends works on for Hostel International. so far, i've only written a little dit. really, though, i will get onto it when i've got the time. promise.

ok...back to work...

I read your blog all the time and just decided to leave a comment because of what you mention in your last post. I read this http://www.centcom.mil/CENTCOM/Casualty_Report.asp?CasualtyReport=20050210.txt
today. It's just a sad case. And I feel so sorry.

That is sad...

Can't really think of any big construction over here in SD. There is a Chik-fil-A here now though! But it's way out in Eastlake which is like 30 minutes from here on a good day.

oh, sewage spill in PB, ewww...

There are many creatures here anxiously awaiting your return :)

Gotta go try and beat some traffic! There's something to look forward too :)

Hmmm Heather??? I can see some Heather in you. Maybe you can write a book and use Heather as your publishing name. ;-) lol Do I see ya smiling and spinning those wheels now???

I think Heather, Amber, Crystal or whatever your name is or might be someday, your a beautiful, intelligent, classy woman who can hold her own and you know you will see tons of guys trying to vive your attention etc. Like you didn't know that. lol

Well Heather dang it I mean Amber, Have a fun and safe day yes when you get around to it, please post how the Iraqi elections went and what you saw not from the media stand point. I love first hand correspondence.

P.S. Maybe when you get back, I can stop by with a few other sand box buddies and let ya know nothing has changed except now that your back, we will all pay higher taxes. lol Oh also drink a good european or Canadian beer.

Ciao,
Vince
